Movements:

You must understand that not all situations will be static and will require

you to move with firearm out and in some cases shooting. There are three basic movements;

o Forward movement

o Rearward movement

o Lateral movement

Forward

There are two basic forward movements the

forward slide/ step and drag and the groucho/duck walk

with the knees bent and used as shock exhorbers to

reduce the front sight from bouncing as you walk.

The slide step or step and drag forward movement is also used in

defensive tactics to keep your plat form well balanced keeping your strong foot

connected to the ground. This will help when moving on uneven terrain. The down side is this is slow

when trying to move quickly from one position to another.
