David Williams is a retired police officer and the Director of Training for SSD Tactical Training.  He is a certified Municipal Police Training Committee Firearms Instructor (Pistol, Shotgun, Patrol Rifle/ AR-15), a former Municipal Police Academy/ Police Department Defensive Tactics Instructor, active Municipal Police Academy/ Police Department Use of Force Instructor, active Municipal Police Academy Motor Vehicle Stops Instructor, Building searches Instructor, Active Shooter Instructor, Less Lethal Applied Simulation Training Instructor, an Officer down rescue/ Self-aid/buddy aid Instructor (Active Shooter), (DHS) Stop The Bleed Instructor, International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Range Master and a Taser International Instructor.  David has taught hundreds of civilians, police recruits, veteran police officers as well as military personnel. He has trained with the Massachusetts State Police, Connecticut State Police, United States State Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, multiple municipal police agencies,  Members of U.S. Navy SEAL Team 4 and the United States Coast Guard. 

 In addition to the above he is also certified in the following disciplines: Krav Maga Instructor, Simunition Commercial range Program Instructor, Simunition (General Dynamics) scenario-based instructor development for the safe application in Law Enforcement and Military Tactical Training, and Law Enforcement Advanced Causality Care. He is a National Rifle Association Basic Pistol Instructor, National Rifle Association Home Firearms Safety Instructor, Massachusetts State Police/ Connecticut State Police Certified Firearms Instructor, Glock Armorer, AR-15 Armorer, Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) firearms Instructor and a multi-state Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Instructor. He also holds a current Federal Firearms License. He stays current with all firearms laws and is always seeking additional education and training.

 Our instructors work one on one with each student while at the range.  We also offer private classes as well.

    I’m not sure if you are still selling firearms but if so I’m in the market for a RUGER Wrangler .22 LR with a 4.62” barrel length. Color isn’t that important but I would prioritize silver then black then burnt bronze. My youngest daughter still isn’t comfortable shooting my 9mm so I think it would be good to start her off with this. Also if I could order .22 LR ammo through you great if not I can get it elsewhere.
