This course covers everything you need to know to own and use a firearm safely—from state laws and safe handling to cleaning, storage, and child-proofing. You’ll gain the skills and confidence to carry responsibly and receive a Massachusetts State Police Certificate and Certificate of Completion valid for licensing in MA and other states.

 Who is This Class for?

  • Adults and young teens who want to get into Airsoft guns
  • Those looking to receive a Massachusetts State Police Certificate and a Certificate of Completion to apply to a variety of other states
  • Those looking to apply for a Firearms Identification Card (FID) or License to Carry/Concealed Carry permit in Massachusetts (Which requires a live fire firearms safety course)
  • Those looking to apply for a Firearms Identification Card (FID) or License to Carry/Concealed Carry permit in any other state that requires a live fire firearms safety course, such as Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Florida etc.

Please Note: The Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) class portion with live fire supersedes the requirements for Springfield, MA, Ludlow, MA and Chicopee Police Departments requiring live fire to apply for a License to Carry Permit.
