The two most important safeties on a firearm are:
- Your head (Use it. Don’t be Careless or Ignorant)
- Your Finger (NEVER put your finger in the trigger guard or on the trigger until you are ready to shoot)
Some firearms have external safeties but they are mechanical devices that can fail!!! (Don’t rely on them)
